Make the Most of Argos in Portugal by Letting Us Shop for You from Argos UK – Argos.co.uk or Argos Portugal

There are now two new sites which offer British expatriates living abroad, including Portugal the opportunity to continue shopping from British shops, including ArgosUK, and these are the options they offer:

  1. If they enjoyed shopping at Argos UK while in Britain and wish to continue doing so in Portugal through www.argos.co.uk, but they don’t like doing their shopping online, UKShoppingInSpain will do it all for the customer. All the customer has to do is simply phone through an order, or fill in the form on site, pay for their order and relax while they wait to have them delivered to their home in Portugal by Argos-Portugal.
  2.  If the customer wishes to source all their items from Argos UK, but find that some of those items cannot be delivered by Argos-Portugal, they may receive help from UKShoppingInSpain for delivery of those items.
  3.  The customer may simply purchase all items direct from TheExpatMarketplace, they promise to deliver everything Argos-Portugal and other UK shops do not deliver to Portugal.

Argos is a household name in the United Kingdom. They are at the forefront in technology always stocking the latest products in items such as laptops, TVs etc., as well as most reliable brands such iPods, Nintendo, 3Ds, Xbox 360 and much more; in furniture, they stock a wide range of beds and sofas as well as soft furnishings including bedding and rugs, white goods including washing machine, fridges and freezers; the latest toys and the top brands such as Sylvanian families, Lego and Barbie; for the garden there is a wide range of BBQs, garden furniture and sheds; pushchairs, car seats and cots are a few of the items in a  broad range of nursery products; and then there is the line of over 10,000 products which are  exclusive to online buyers, and which include an ever increasing range of fragrances, skincare and makeup products.

It is not surprising that Argos UK has created an online presence at www.argos.co.uk that has consolidated it as one of the most popular online retailers, with a great website which continues to offer the wide range and top quality of products to all of its loyal customers that it does in its brick and mortar stores. Therefore, Argos today has millions of customers globally, including those British expatriates who either live and work or live and play away from home in countries such as Portugal. Expatriates wish to continue to purchase their favourite products from back home from the site www.argos.co.uk , but are somewhat deterred because Argos does not have a comprehensive delivery service in Portugal.

In the past, Argos UK did not offer delivery services for the items which were available for sale to Portugal, but they have recently inaugurated a new site called Argos-Portugal and they do deliver the smaller less expensive articles to Portugal. While at Argos- Portugal, the customer can choose from quite a good selection of the international brands which they sell in the UK and which are so popular with their customers, it is still only a small proportion of what Argos UK stocks.

One of the reasons for this is that Argos- Portugal can’t sell some of the items in its electrical range, and so their offer of these goods to the expatriate market will be quite limited. It is important to remember that all electrical appliances will be sold with a UK plug. Products which the site can’t sell either are large items which would require more than one man to deliver.  So, although they do stock over 8,000 items, the customer can’t expect to see the same range of articles as on www.argos.co.uk. Expatriate customers who require items from the Argos UK site which the Portuguese version Argos-Portugal site doesn’t deliver may take advantage of the choices offered by the new alternative sites such as UKShoppingInSpain to either hire their delivery services or to buy direct from TheExpatMarketplace site.

Should the customer need any of the items stocked by Argos delivered to their home in Portugal, and if Argos- Portugal cannot deliver, they would be better off opting for a different website such as www.ukshoppinginspain.com . The UKShoppingInSpain.com site is designed to deliver to British expatriates the products they choose from the UK shops such as Argos UK and which those shops fail to deliver to Portugal. UKShoppingInSpain.com will order on behalf of the customer and have it delivered to their warehouse in the UK, in turn delivering to the customer’s home in Portugal within 10-14 days of placing the order.

Another good option is to have your UK shopping  delivered to you in Portugal through the www.theexpatmarketplace.co.uk site which has been designed to sell directly to the customer all goods that Argos UK and other UK shops don’t deliver to Portugal. The site promises to deliver to the customer’s address in Portugal any one of the many thousands of products listed as available on their website.
